PROJECT SUMMARY

Scope of work includes demolition of the existing reservoir intake structure, construction of a new intake structure with improved trash rack and stop logs. The project also consists of a grout curtain in outlet tunnel, rock bolting and shotcrete lining of the existing outlet tunnel upstream of the existing gate structure; driving a new bypass tunnel to route outlet flows around the original control gate structure; construction of a new toe buttress and drain system with manholes, concrete encasing a 126” diameter steel liner pipe within the 300-foot long section of the outlet tunnel downstream of the control gates; construction of a multi-level valve house complete with 84” and 36” knife gates and fixed cone valves, and all other appurtenant works including downstream stream bed protection, rockfill, and drainage piping.
