Project Summary:

The project added 4.0 million gallons per day (MGD) of capacity to the existing facility for a total treatment capacity of 12 MGD and included advanced wastewater treatment processes to meet more stringent standards for stream discharge and irrigation reuse. The project included construction of a new screening building, new grit building, a new anoxic basin complex, new north aeration basin complex, and two new 80 foot diameter secondary clarifiers. Modifications were made to the flow diversion structure and the influent pumping station (including two new screw-centrifugal pumps). A new ultraviolet disinfection system was installed. This project was completed 5 months ahead of schedule.
